You ask me, "What is Park Slope Pat, pray tell?" When I first moved into my Brooklyn neighborhood of the Slope, I went walking around side streets just to get a sense of the community, and was startled when, from my peripheral vision, spotted this apparition of a face in a brownstone window. I began affectionately referring to it as Park Slope Pat, and sometimes snapping a photo of her. The homeowner there seasonally changes Pat's accessories (mainly her hat), from a Santa hat in the winter to a graduation cap come June.
